Ramon Sender on Buchla & the Trips Festival from the book on the SF Tape Music Center: "By now, 1966 had developed and delivered his box...My dream was to run Big Brother through the Buchla box, very slowly, but gradually, turn up all the ring modulators until the whole thing would be way out in space. But that never happened for a number of reasons. We got Don [Buchla] involved in building the PA system and Stewart Brand and the Pranksters involved in nailing it to the ceiling of the Longshoremen's Auditorium."

It's great that Buchla got to build his 200e series before his passing since he had been working towards a programmable modular system since the original 200 series.

It occurred to Don one day to build an instrument actually intended for electronic music performance. ... And a few years later (1970), the 200 series Electric Music Box. ... For his keyboard playing friends Don conjured up the Touché (1978).

@future transport: I'm amazed that they now offer the Music Easel with the original circuitry. Another amazing Buchla instrument! I won't call it a synth since Don Buchla hated them being called synthesizers since that could be construed as synthetic, as in imitative synthesis.

Season the fillets with salt and pepper. ...
When the pan is hot add the olive oil and heat. ...
Place the fillets in the pan and pan fry about 3 minutes per side, until golden brown. ...
When the butter is melted, add the sliced garlic. ...
Add the herbs and remove from the heat.
