Maybe this region of NYC/NJ should be called the “Greater Port Authority Customer Base?”

Greetings, Professor Ryker.
A440/SHP was missed while it was away.

The kid downstairs is practicing the drums, as he does every day for about 18 hours. It goes better with Schoenberg than with Prokofiev.

JakeGould. GPACB to me translates as "ready to accept any transit insults that the corrupt ringmasters care to lay upon us". Ooops, did I just say that?

Bit it would be a nicely programmed selection even if the pieces didn't happen to have that in common.

I didn't know the Peer Gynt Suite was an Opus 46.

It might've been 46 years ago when I first heard it, though.

second Adam, it's nice to have this show on the air again!

Bethany Ryker:

There are two suites of music from Peer Gynt - the suite Op. 46 was published in 1888; the entire music was composed/premiered in 1876

Quite a tidy little tour thru Modernism this playlist.
How come there's no stream even close to this for 'Classical'?
