	♥ 12:46pm Lane Gray: Listener Robert, some multieffects units have a noise gate built into them, but they're never as simple as what you describe, as those are pretty much instant. I've never heard a noise gate with less than about 200ms latency. And in some amps, you can't disable them. VERY annoying if you put them after a volume pedal. When I hit a string, I damn well expect a note to jump out of the speaker. Hopefully Michael's lacks the latency

At work, I once suggested that the behavior of a certain Database Administrator was more worthy of a 'bot than an organic entity. Examples of humans flunking the Touring Test.

I've never heard a noise gate with less than about 200ms latency. And in some amps, you can't disable them. VERY annoying if you put them after a volume pedal. When I hit a string, I damn well expect a note to jump out of the speaker. Hopefully Michael's lacks the latency
