I am joining in the parade

Hi, all. Boy, a mouse wouldn't last long in the room with those two on guard. Or maybe they'd invite it to mug for the camera with them.

Happy Sunny Thursday, Amanda

@Ken HP I searched for images of "kitten and bird" and shouldn't have been surprised by how many of them were of the kitten eating the bird.

Before the show is over, I expect to see those two dancing by the light of the moon

The Twitter links on the home page had a kittens and bunnies video yesterday. Cute? You bet!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:21am
Amanda:

As a teen I interviewed at the Dalton school in Manhattan; their snooty English teacher asked what I was reading currently and I said a biography of Edward Lear. He didn't know who he was!!! And was totally dismissive of my so-called intellect

Nifty arrangement. Makes "In The Pines" sound like a Jaques Brel song.

On the Blue Swede, the way he says "cafe" is A+

Annabella and Daisy Mae were probably not too fond of each other, if you think about it

Resurfacing after a burst of proofreading to day I'm just as happy to be here, inaugurating a sunny June with the Scenario!

Mike Finnigan recorded a great version of Ace in the Hole.

Good morning Amanda and all scenariosters.

Why thank you, @LJFW! Glad to accompany your proofreading, if it's not too distracting!

listener james from westwood:

Wonder if Alf Clausen had this in mind when writing "Let's Keep the Spring in Springfield"?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:55am
Amanda:

Ha! That is a good guess. Though I don't think Clausen writes the songs, just arranges them (and composes the incidental music). But I see what you're saying.

Welcome Little Danny!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:05am
Little Danny:

Amanda, have you heard the FOLLOW ME soundtrack that "Spray Colored Glasses" was also included on? Glorious, mostly instrumental sunshine pop c/o Stu Phillips. A real fave of mine

Doctorjazz:

Great set!
(Both Sides Now was an interesting take on Joni. Jazzbos usually use their harmonic sophistication and add chords to "simple" pop/folk/rock stuff. They stepped the chords out to a model vamp, very nice.
Great car company!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:12am
Amanda:

@LD I've heard it, it's great! But I wanna see the film. Seems like the right time of year to watch it.

@Doctorjazz - Thanks! Means a lot coming from a jazz head such as yourself. With a degree, even.

Dave B. (@BuckyKatt):

Tuning in for the last hour or so. Don't know Archie & the Bunkers, but like the sound. "Hey Edith, turn up that rock & roll!'
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:15am
Amanda:

Not ashamed to admit I spun this 100% based on the artist name.
  11:19am
Dave B. (@BuckyKatt):

Ha, I did the same as a college DJ, decades ago. Or if a band had an interesting-looking album cover (especially since artists could do a lot on a 12" x 12" LP jacket!).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:20am
listener james from westwood:

I missed the big debate! I can't entirely hate on an episode with Skinner roaring off into the distance saying "Up yours, children!"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:23am
