Favoriting Brian Turner: Playlist from July 18, 2017 Favoriting

Order and disorder in a freeform haze of terribly-played guitars, shorted-out electronics, found audio detritus, strange sounds from strange lands all around. Psych-punk-junk, collage, even pop. Lots of in-studio live performances to boot.

Idm performed a couple of sets at the Boston Hassle public access telethon a couple of months ago. The "singalong" he led in the cramped soundstage a little after midnight was especially transcendent.

@Cecile 4.05
I enjoyed it. The plot is basically music driven, and it's shot in a really compelling way. I'm not much for action movies, so on paper the idea of an hour and a half car chase doesn't sound great, but the characters and music kept it interesting for me, at least.

Also worth pointing out that Edgar Wright directed Spaced, so fully linking it back to the Turnerverse...
