Have you heard the Nigerian pop music pirate at 88.5 in Newark? Don't get too excited though, it's usually all too slick, the latest top-40 hits from MTV Africa or something, zero high life. The sounds you're playing are way better.

I found a green liberal oasis in Gainesville restoring the Everglades, much more fun the crappy tech and gov't jobs in NYC, and for much less coin. That said, I miss the cultural immersion of NYC. Danks y arigato gasaimasute!

Not really... but if u like to hear people shouting about politics in Haitian Kreyol then u r in luck LOL...at 88.7, 88.9, 90.9, 91.3 (last 2 hurt FMU around Elizabeth), etc. etc. etc.; also 2 pirates duking it out over 87.9, one Haitian, one Spanish-lang.

@iiiiiike: There used to be a Haitian pirate station that would overpower WFMU 91.1 near Prospect Park, It seemed to emanate from north Flatbush. Also, there used to be a Jamaican 7th Day Adventist station that would periodically pop up around 91.2-(3ish) in Bed-Stuy and bleed in to WFMU.
