My fave P, P & M LP is "See What Tomorrow Brings." I realize they were formulaic, a commercial sort of folk group but they also put themselves out there: played at the big 1963 civil rights rally in DC.

i don't know their "later" albums (still pretty early) very well. "a song will rise" was in the house at some point, and i bought "moving", thinking i must love it, since it was in-between the 2 albums i loved so much; but neither one did much for me.
i made a pp&m playlist about a year ago and i did include 7 songs from "see what tomorrow brings", but it just feels like the earliest stuff is more sincere, to me.
...it pisses me off to no end though that they took full writing credit for so many songs they didn't write. worse than led zeppelin!
