Hello all.

Regarding "jazz" health, Sewelson's program has been relevatory for me for hearing both the music and the mind set of some younger artists.

Regarding bandcamp Fridays, I missed August due to work blowing up and for this weekend, I think I added as many to my wishlist as I purchased.

I wonder if the confusion about Peacock means that he hasn't died *yet* or that the whole story was wrong?
P.S. Did Ziporyn actually PLAY the gamelan on that piece? He's a clarinetest in real life.

@WR! Greetings. Yes, Dave Sewelson's show is a must listen (Saturday afternoon on the Drummer stream)! Jazz as a living, breathing, homemade thing, that show.

This Cluster is a treat.
Avatar 🦀 Swag For Life Member 10:04am
WR:

Cluster has plenty of attitude.

"Cluster shows routinely lasted six hours or more, luring both the band and the audience into a state of intoxication, no doubt acutely enhanced by the intake of certain substances. The buzzwords of the moment were: psychedelic, magical, ritualistic, corresponding more or less to the Dionysian hedonism which pervades certain styles of contemporary music culture today. It is worth noting this context as useful background when listening to the live recordings presented here."
