Good morning Brainiacs

Greetings!
  9:08am Jeff:

Loved that Monkees’ track since I was given that album as a birthday gift in 1967. More of the Monkees was chock full of hits, but Sometime in the Morning touched my 13 year old soul deeply.
Hey Doc!

Always loved this Bros. Johnson track
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:13am Rich in Bay Ridge:

Was feeling miserable this morning until I heard that Brothers Johnson guitar break. Good morning.

  9:52am Jeff:

So, does anyone know if Sal Valentino from the Beau Brummels (born Salvatore Spampinato in SF) is related to Joey Spampinato?
  9:57am Greg from ZONE 5:

Morning, Bob! You’re soundtracking my jaunt up to Sussex County.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:58am melinda:

Hi Greg, where ya headed to in Sussex?

Butter!
Avatar 10:29am TDK60:

Beatles '65 ("Sale") is a fine LP, in mono!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:30am melinda:

I have fond memories of listening to this PPM on the 8-track player in my grandmother's car.
Avatar 10:30am TDK60:

Dig the PBBB & PPM too!
  10:41am Listener Bop Monroe:

The Dave Clark Five totally steal the 'John' harmonica sound for 'Catch Us If You Can' a few months later in 1965. I can see how this would have turned him off, especially as he's now enamored with Dylan by that time.
  10:42am Listener Bop Monroe:

wow, was enjoying that!
Avatar 10:43am TDK60:

I feel Lennon was better than Bob D. on harp. Taj Mahal likes John L.'s harp playin...
Avatar 10:48am TDK60:

Not to put Bob D. down, like his music too; also, "Loser"'s harp might be influenced by Bob's!
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 10:49am WilliamfromDumont:

Definitely Butter on PPM with The Paupers.
Avatar 10:53am TDK60:

"Another Side of Bob Dylan" -possible LP with closest influence on Fab 4 in '64, maybe?
  10:54am hudu:

Beverley track is hot. Sounds so fresh, hard to believe it's from '67.
  10:55am Fabric Center:

Ran outta Orlon material
