  1:22pm P-90:

Avatar 🌮 1:23pm Hubig Pie:

Who is that character behind Lumpy's left shoulder ? I think he was a semi-regular on the show
  1:24pm P-90:

Avatar 🌮 1:30pm Mailman Tom:

I always enjoyed Richard Deacon playing the part of Mr. Rutherford in Leave it to Beaver. He never called his son" Lumpy." He always called him Clarence.
  1:31pm kpx:

@P-90, Right. come to think of it, it was a report I heard on Tony Dow having some sort of health problem.

Did Theodore Cleaver get the nickname Beaver because of his reputation with the females!?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:43pm JohnEBGood:

Hi Rex and FMU family. Wow you can really here the polka and German influence on these swings ; )
Avatar 1:46pm Rex:

Oh yeah...a big German/Czech-Bohemian influence on all the Texas Western Swing outfits...especially Adolph Hofner...
  1:50pm kpx:

@Papito, Ha, he got that name from the time he was a baby because Wally couldn't pronounce Theodore, and it morphed into beaver.
  1:53pm Sylvia's Mother:

Internet signal cutting out a lot!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:53pm Sweet Corn Lizzie:

The Saddle Rack moved to Fremont and recently announced they won’t be reopening after the current unpleasantness. No more line dancing for Pat.

  1:58pm Haz:

The German/Czech-Bohemian biggest contributions to society: Central Texas Barbecue, Western Swing, Kolaches
  1:58pm mrmikestandsir:

Great set Rex! I love western swing and have for a long long time. It's great to hear bands that aren't Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys. I love Bob Wills and the playboys that's what got me into Western Swing -even made the pilgrimage to his hometown of Turkey, Texas once. But it was years before I knew there were other bands that played like that. Love to hear music I've never heard before. That's why I listen to WFMU!
  1:58pm The Butterman:

No balls in cow town. Should be Steer town.
