If she had been, it would have been a somewhat of a counterweight to all the men and their takes. @Uncle Micnael Yes! Tom Gray. The Seldom Scene were a ubiquitous presence on the DC/Maryland/Virginia folk circuit when I was coming up. Must have seen them a dozen times in my childhood. @lee b Judee Sill was new to me, too. I think someone reissued her debut record on Asylym in 2004. That was my entree.
