Gerry from Miami: OMD had bass, and some guitar, on their first album. I saw them in 81 or 82 and they, at least, played bass live. I do remember seeing Our Daughter's Wedding and don't recall any guitars, only keyboards, possibly a drummer.

On the records they both are listed as playing drums, but a quick look at some live clips showing them to have a drummer for tours. Pretty sure they toured as a three piece when I saw them.

Folks, if you can find an early press of that LP on the "Family" label, it is quite interesting to hear because it's mastered too fast. Joel's vocals on that track are actually up a full step. I actually this mistake benefitted the album -- that track then takes on a more McCartney feel. I think it's a great song, so Joel's voice sounding smoother and higher sounds better to me. Of course, my prejudices are showing. ;)

I actually didn't try weed for many years because it made my heart race to about 140 bpm while sitting calmly. Then I had my heart checked. It's fine. So I tried again. No heart racing. And no fun. So... BOURBON, BABY!
