How about minor depressive disorder? Should I wear special glasses? The kind with shutters?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:26pm
ironybread:

For minor depressive disorder, simply listen to my show, but invert one of the channels.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:29pm

I'm listening with a bluetoof speaker, would turning it upside- down work?

There's a cut on this Whale album that makes a killer mashup with Yes' "Leave It" and I've done a version and it's not great and I wish it were better.

Todd Colby's "Cake" was a bit of a WFMU hit back in the day. Kenny G. loved to play it on "Unpopular Music" or "Hour of Pain" or whatever his show was called. I think some listeners even submitted their own versions IIRC.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:54pm
ironybread:

That whole "Word Up" compilation is great - I was at a student station in the early nineties and played "I Am a Closet New Yorker" without listening to it first - was mortified when Sheri-D said "Don't fuck with a fuck!"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:55pm
