Two people, talking, walking, getting together, special film.

	4:49pm WM: The most important film I’ve found on Rarefilmm.com is Flight of the Eagle (1982) by Jan Troell. It’s about an real attempt in 1897 by a Swedish explorer to fly over the North Pole in a balloon. I’m sure I’m not spoiling anything to say he didn’t make it. Sometime in the 1930s they found the wreckage of the balloon along with photographs the crew had taken. It’s a great film that I haven’t been able to find anywhere else.

	4:49pm WM: The most important film I’ve found on Rarefilmm.com is Flight of the Eagle (1982) by Jan Troell. It’s about an real attempt in 1897 by a Swedish explorer to fly over the North Pole in a balloon. I’m sure I’m not spoiling anything to say he didn’t make it. Sometime in the 1930s they found the wreckage of the balloon along with photographs the crew had taken. It’s a great film that I haven’t been able to find anywhere else.
