Remind me - what is the unit of measure conversion for bushel >>> shebang ???
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:12pm
Mr. Fine Wine:

Depends on the person. I happen to have bushels and bushels of shebang.
  8:12pm
Sheri:

Every shebang contains a whole bushel, but not every bushel contains the whole shebang?

Outstanding set!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:46pm
Mr. Fine Wine:

We can both thank Johnny Moore for that, Ken!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:48pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Interesting he's on different labels - but all the Arrangements & Productions sound - highly developed like the Horns & Strings here - but still organic - not precise to the point of sterility. Like a smaller budget than Motown - but working for him! If that makes any sense to the Soul Intelligentsia...
Avatar 8:50pm
Oocho:

Love that one

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:52pm
coelacanth∅:

i'm inclined to agree, and cop to not knowing much by Mr. Moore before
  Swag For Life Member 8:53pm
Zinn The Mood:

First thing I thought of also was Monkey Man. Wouldn’t be the first time the Stones lifted something and took the credit. Wasn’t Wild Horses Graham Parsons’?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:53pm
coelacanth∅:

(agree with that he should be better known that is)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:54pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

Thanks, Mr. Fine Wine. Heck of a show tonight!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:57pm

discogs says the Johnny Moore song is 1968, which places it before monkey man.

martin webb:

an awesome tribute to the great Johnny Moore - & in reply to you not recalling the other name for the "soul over easy" track it was the SONS OF MOSES "soul symphony" on Le Cam
  9:01am
martin webb:

they sound identical to me, I made an error within my my memory the Sons of Moses track originally came out on Coral in the US, not Le Cam (that was the Hammond Brothers in 1973), Sons of Moses, was associated with Moses Dillard, of Joshua & Moses Dillard, here is the info: https://www.discogs.com/The-Sons-Of-Moses-Soul-Symphony-Fatback/release/2189113
