Favoriting Hinky Dinky Time with Uncle Michael: Playlist from August 20, 2021 Favoriting

Uncle Michael's avatar View Uncle Michael's profile Favoriting

Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

Edgar Wright directed Baby Driver. He had directed a music video for Mint Royale in '03 and liked the concept so much he wanted to turn it into a movie. Took about 15 years to get the funding. youtu.be...

Michael, I'm going to give it up here. I really got off today watching you do your show wearing MY shirt. I thought to myself - mission accomplished! When I leave you baby, don't cry the night away
When I die, don't you write no words upon my tomb

Oh oh oh oh, when I'm dead and gone
I wanna leave some happy woman living on
Oh oh oh oh, when I'm dead and gone
Don't want nobody to mourn beside my grave - yeah
