I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Handy Haversack:

The exterior picture here is where I canoe: davidwatson.herokuapp.com...

Early on in my learning how to urban paddle, we were coming back along the creek at dusk, the cityscape just coming alight, the dark settling behind us on the creek, and David was standing on that spot and piping, and I remember thinking to myself: "This is the absolute coolest thing possible."

At a public paddle event a year or two later, where we take people out for free, he was practicing under the bridge, and I went out to tell him we had a special discount for pipers: 50 percent off! And took him out for a trip in the big canoes.

Man, I'm an idiot. I had no idea.

Someone is blowing into it.

I have a local bagpiper too. She bagpipes in the park. I had no idea who it was. Then one day I met up with someone from a dating app and it was her. Weird. We had no chemistry since I seemingly only have chemistry with glasses-wearing teachers with double-jointed left elbows from Mars, but it was fun to chat with her.

Krys O.:

Is there such a thing as nano-bagpipes? If not, there should be.

Thanks, Bryce & all the Marbled Ones! Have a fabutastic weekend!

Good question! For me, more often I know instantly, especially if I do *not* have chemistry w/someone, but sometimes it takes a couple of hours, or even a couple of dates.

She hadn’t bagpiped since then though. Hope I didn’t freak her out too much. Look people, just because someone has a touch of autism or whatever, that doesn’t mean they’re a serial killer. Please go easy on us harmless weirdos. That said, it could really be anything. Maybe it’s hard out there for a lady bagpiper (worse than for a pimp?) in general.

Also: thanks, Bryce. Today was fantastic. Glad you are still on the Friday afternoon slot. And I learned more than I was expecting to! (And more than I had left on my learning quota for the week. Gonna have to forget something.)

Be well, O Marmelizers! See you in the musics!
