Favoriting Bryce: Playlist from October 22, 2021 Favoriting

I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Threemoons, we are at two cats, down from three as of July. They are fifteen and nineteen, and we sort of thought it might be a good idea to get a bonded pair in here to comfort them in their dotage.

The mug I use at the office is a Generic Mug with a fake bar code on it. It's from the late 70s or early 80s. I still have a mug from the old Jewish music morning show on WFMU pre-Nachum, I think and there's one with an illustration of DJ Pat St. John done by Peter Max. @sphere (after moment stunned silence from unexpected question) Billy Joel you say? Uh well he's a very talented songwriter, and very commercially successful. I had at least one of his 45s when I was a teenager. And who can forget his rendition of "Root Beer Rag" at the 2013 Jazz & Heritage Festival. But I have to be honest. @Brainiac, sadly, no. It was a peace officer's union mug. He was a Sheriff's Lieutenant back in the 70s.

Full disclosure: I never read Dune, nor did I see the David Lynch film. I would like to see the documentary on Jodorowsky's unfinished film though. Zero interest in the new Dune.

Two mugs (neglected) of note in one of the shared kitchens at work:

2) www.ebay.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:20pm
Threemoons:

FYI if you do microwave popcorn do NOT get the crap in the bag--the plastics used are super bad for you. Use a plain ol' brown paper bag or if you have an insert for your nuker then use that. OTOH some of the best popcorn that I ever had was made in a wok.

You pay a mint for artisanal twenty-six-year popcorn in Brooklyn, let me tell you.

My coffee is my old Cornell Class mug from my graduation; it should have said something snarkier like "I spent a mint on an Ivy League education and all I got was this stupid mug." One of the few things from college that I took out of the accumulated crap in my Mom's house when she moved.

Oh, and remind me to never, ever use a coffee cup without giving it a good rinse first. Got to the bottom of my first cup of joe a few minutes ago and..almost swallowed a piece of bay leaf that somehow got baked onto the cup by my dishwasher's dry cycle--that's what I get for not pre-rinsing my bean pot I guess. At least it wasn't a roach. I actually had THAT happen to me when I lived in a very much infested building in DC ages ago.
