Worst of all was how the PR machine behind them worked like demons to turn them into a money machine and lowered the bar immeasurably for popular music in general. Really people, this is WFMU. We are so much better than this. We need never talk of them again.

Some one once said (regarding the British process of de-colonization) "people don't want good government; they want their own government. The same is true of music and R&R in particular.
