And who did I see? Faye (I am certain of it) ascending the stairs on the opposite platform. Without thought, I shouted out like a crazy person, "Hey, Faye! Hey! Hello Children!" super garbled and surprisingly loud. Faye, of course, did not heed my unintelligible ravings, but everyone on the platform nearby did the discreet two-step-away-from-the-maniac shuffle.

I used to hear one a lot from time to time over the decades, but not lately. and the only clue to who the artist or the name of the song was, called "orange juice". Now this is a long shot, but I was wondering if someone could tell me by the description I'm going to give if orange juice was the name of the song or the artist. It was a quick fast up tempo song 'instrumental only', does that sound familiar to anyone. I've tried looking for orange juice on YouTube and I found several songs of that title, but neither one was the song I was looking for. And then there's the group orange juice which I peruse many of their songs in hopes that I could find that it was one of theirs, but no dice. Unless I'm wrong about the title orange juice which I swear I've always heard whatever DJ that played it said it was. It's a long shot I know but for what it's worth I had to give it a try. Thanks

	1:51pm Passaic River Blues: The "weird" is a great way to examine the "normal," something is weird usually in proportion to how much it deviates from norms/the conventional. It can be unsettling but fascinating, posing questions you didn't even know you had. Also, comedy gold. Relatedly, several years ago I read this nerdy book of essays about Twin Peaks, with one really interesting piece centered on how in the 19th Century the macabre became a popular vehicle in genre fiction for investigating Things That Cannot Be Named. So, for instance, novels about werewolves and vampires at root were using fantasy to explore homosexuality and non-traditional sexuality. Was really interesting.

Botuh dancer Azumi O E performs with bass player Tim Dahl (of Child Abuse, Lydia Lunch Retrovirus, Pulverize The Sound among others). It starts at 8:30. Weasel Walter solo opening up. It's outdoors at Bush Terminal parking lot (43rd st and 1st Ave Brooklyn). Yes it's cold tonight so bundle up. It will be worth it if this is your sort of thing, or if you want something a little different.

I bought it at the Salvation Army in Woodside, Queens and read it in 2009 at a Korean coffee shop on Roosevelt Avenue that has long since closed. I remember it being very mixed with some clunker essays but several incisive ones. It was the first time I read anything about diegetic and non-diegetic sound and their use in film.

And who did I see? Faye (I am certain of it) ascending the stairs on the opposite platform. Without thought, I shouted out like a crazy person, "Hey, Faye! Hey! Hello Children!" super garbled and surprisingly loud. Faye, of course, did not heed my unintelligible ravings, but everyone on the platform nearby did the discreet two-step-away-from-the-maniac shuffle.

I used to hear one a lot from time to time over the decades, but not lately. and the only clue to who the artist or the name of the song was, called "orange juice". Now this is a long shot, but I was wondering if someone could tell me by the description I'm going to give if orange juice was the name of the song or the artist. It was a quick fast up tempo song 'instrumental only', does that sound familiar to anyone. I've tried looking for orange juice on YouTube and I found several songs of that title, but neither one was the song I was looking for. And then there's the group orange juice which I peruse many of their songs in hopes that I could find that it was one of theirs, but no dice. Unless I'm wrong about the title orange juice which I swear I've always heard whatever DJ that played it said it was. It's a long shot I know but for what it's worth I had to give it a try. Thanks

It can be unsettling but fascinating, posing questions you didn't even know you had. Also, comedy gold. Relatedly, several years ago I read this nerdy book of essays about Twin Peaks, with one really interesting piece centered on how in the 19th Century the macabre became a popular vehicle in genre fiction for investigating Things That Cannot Be Named. So, for instance, novels about werewolves and vampires at root were using fantasy to explore homosexuality and non-traditional sexuality. Was really interesting.

It's outdoors at Bush Terminal parking lot (43rd st and 1st Ave Brooklyn). Yes it's cold tonight so bundle up. It will be worth it if this is your sort of thing, or if you want something a little different.

I bought it at the Salvation Army in Woodside, Queens and read it in 2009 at a Korean coffee shop on Roosevelt Avenue that has long since closed. I remember it being very mixed with some clunker essays but several incisive ones. It was the first time I read anything about diegetic and non-diegetic sound and their use in film.
