	10:30pm coelacanth∅: i planted a fig tree in new york state and it died back each year like an herb, bouncing back each summer to produce figs that tasted like nothing. so one year i built a tall skinny pyramid of 2x2s around it, wrapped it with canvas, then plastic. there was little dieback and the figs were pretty good. then someone wrecked the pyramid and that was the end of pretty good figs.
