TimG: Thought the same thing about the VU doc. (it was playing here in NYC at a rep. theater). Lots of info on that time, the avant-garde scene, etc. & I enjoyed all that, but was puzzled/annoyed by the fact they left out all their reunions: from the Cale/Reed Warhol album (they just showed the cover) to their European tour (which would've come to NYC if the usual conflicts didn't come up again), to their last performance, at their HoF induction, where they did a new song dedicated to S. Morrison.....why not include that? Also did nothing to change the reputation of Reed being a sour, controlling prick. Corey:

Good morning Michael and listeners! Today's show has provided the soundtrack for a treacherous (for the tree) drive home from the xmas tree farm. Will learn to tie a good knot one of these days.

You could have had one from Oceana Co. for free, Corey! Though they're pretty wild.

Did anyone else listen to Pee Wee Herman's radio show last night? It could have been better IMO.

Jack White should sing a song with Jack Black about consuming too much Jack Daniels

@Listener Baby: They did! Look up "Don't Blow It, Kage." It's brilliant.

Want Beck Hansen & Jeff Beck to form the Beck Band - or just Beck. Which they could easily do.

The answer is that Woody Guthrie wrote about white-collar crime:
Some will rob you with a six-gun,
And some with a fountain pen.

I cringed a little when I heard my review of Dragnet come out of the radio but I'm standing by it. It's a weird, not great NRBQ record. No fault of the newer guys. Terry's songs don't cut it this time. Where's My Pebble is a great groover though.
