@Marie saw that one too, quite good; but the real story of that guy is quite amazing, how he was only a few hundred yards from "civilized" territory, when he "passed" (inexperience, sloppy navigating)

Hello Spin Age Blasters with Creamo Coyl. Sounds good as always.
@Marie Cake was a favorite local band in Sacramento before they 'blew up real big'. They volunteered to play a community art benefit. The week before that all their equipment was stolen. They played the gig with borrowed instruments.

On top of everything else, waiting for an email back from my neuropharmocologist. My refill requests always wind up in his spam filter, and I don't want to wind up like my friend who, due to an insurance fuckup and other miscommunications with a pharmacy, had to go a week without essential meds. Basically the Duane Reade near him went to fill his scrip and put it through the insurance and THEN realized that they didn't have two of his must-haves in stock...and legally no other place could then fill it.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:25pm
Threemoons 🌛🌕🌜:

@Analog Nights given Mark E. Smith's propensity to fight with his bandmembers on stage, does he approve of anything? FWIW one of my best friends is a huge Fall fan--as in "fly out to Manchester for the weekend to catch a gig" level of fandom back in the day.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:26pm
Threemoons 🌛🌕🌜:

In fact, he was at a gig somewhere on the East Coast and the cops actually had to be called--not because of anything the crowd was doing but to break up the fight ON STAGE.

that's the problem with geniuses like Mark E Smiths, they tend to be kinda dictatorial and difficult to work with

Barney Grubbs:

It was a nice coincidence, but no intent behind it! (it's a weird half direct transliteration from the japanese katakana--first half gets anglicized as Ultra but the second half stays as bide with the accent so you don't pronounce it like "ride")
