it's a pretty convoluted story, Cheree - apparently Elton was British, but yes it was Bertrand's backing band playing on "Jet Boy.". There have been various lawsuits and controversies. Like supposedly Bertrand isn't even singing on the Plastic Bertrand version, some one else is!
