btw -- i saw Turnstile (their Glow On is #1 on this list) on one of the late night talk shows -- i was so totally unimpressed, did not get it at all -- and they were all so squeaky clean, polished, expensive instruments, rehearsed, etc. -- since when is that "punk"?!?!

(i don't know about the content. i listened to Stern for a year or 2 in the late 90s because kroq was the best my radio could pull in, and the cassette was broken. i thought he was about 1/8 amusing, 7/8 absolute waste of time crap.)
