Well, I didn't, but he called me Monday evening to tell me he has stage 4 pancreatic cancer & was going through his 3rd two week cycle of chemo. Four years younger than I with a great wife & kids. All we can do is hope for the best

Kids will take insane risks for that $…. not mentioning addiction, which is medical issue made worse by the criminal model of control. For example the price of Coccaine is worth more than Gold, gram for gram. This is what drives the majority of youth in Harlem to carry a gun

	8:54am Rosey is Listening on 91.1 MHz: Wanted to check in and say hi quickly because it's been so great to be back in the New York area after going to Denver for my brother's bachelor party last weekend. I took Amtrak there and back with my bicycle and thought about The Pidge because Amtrak's California Zephyr passes through Iowa. Pretty sure he's from there, right? It's so nice passing through wide-open fields and occasionally passing straight through old railroad towns. My swag also arrived while I was away. I wore my Downtown Soulville shirt last night to Nitehawk for a really fun event where comedian Wyatt Cenac and a couple of other people screened a rare Blaxploitation film and provided commentary and wise cracks over microphones during the movie. Really fun time. There's another screening of a different movie in October. It was so nice spending some time in Prospect Park too. Hope everyone has a great weekend! I'll be at a big transit and urbanism meetup in the city tomorrow!

	8:54am Rosey is Listening on 91.1 MHz: Wanted to check in and say hi quickly because it's been so great to be back in the New York area after going to Denver for my brother's bachelor party last weekend. I took Amtrak there and back with my bicycle and thought about The Pidge because Amtrak's California Zephyr passes through Iowa. Pretty sure he's from there, right? It's so nice passing through wide-open fields and occasionally passing straight through old railroad towns. My swag also arrived while I was away. I wore my Downtown Soulville shirt last night to Nitehawk for a really fun event where comedian Wyatt Cenac and a couple of other people screened a rare Blaxploitation film and provided commentary and wise cracks over microphones during the movie. Really fun time. There's another screening of a different movie in October. It was so nice spending some time in Prospect Park too. Hope everyone has a great weekend! I'll be at a big transit and urbanism meetup in the city tomorrow!
