I think in the UK the Party of the PM (in this case the Tories - their Republicans more or less) has to pick a successor who automatically gets installed. So - that's the delay tactic?

  5:21pm
David in London:

Our PM is not equivalent to your President. The Tories won a thumping majority in 2019, and so are not obliged to seek a general election now even if they change their leader (as indeed Labour were not when they swapped Blair for Brown in 2007, it being another three years before an election).
Avatar 🦇 Swag For Life Member 5:21pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

I could teach myself probly anything as a 'folk' musician (get something out of it) - but if it's keyboard, I wanna follow the dots & have good technique if I'm gonna bother. Cause it's the Composer's instrument - & stubborn. I'm sure there's YouToobz & all the rest...

So the majority in Parliament gets to pick the PM ? Yeah ? It's the Leader of the Party... & *they* vote on it ?
  5:28pm

I still have a good amount of Metropolis product lying around in my room and in a huge tote that happens to be sitting right next to me. One place to start with industrial music is Lou Reed's(?!) Metal Machine Music.

Early Cabaret Voltaire.

These days, Unsustainable Social Condition, like a number of Japanese industrial noise bands, really stresses the boundaries.

By "boundaries" I mean not between genres. I mean the space where one's ability to hear is challenged.
