Here we go! Bwah-ha-ha ...

Jan Turkenburg:

hi!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:01pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

A slightly humorous one to end the quartet of Pan's :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:01pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

Hello Jan! :-)

Filets de Marguerite. That sounds potentially nasty, GG. Hello. Sssshhh....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:03pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

Hello SOp! :-)

This music is just perfect... so creepy!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:15pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

@Darryl - The Hellraiser always gets my ghoulish side to come out with the music ;-) So pleased you like it! :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:19pm
StringOFperils:

Ha ha. A St. Bernard. I love it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:20pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

@SOp - I thought it would be fun to end with a slightly silly one ;-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:30pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

This story was written in 1968 .... but the original "Little Shop of Horrors" came out in 1960. I think the author may have been influenced somewhat ;-)
Avatar 3:35pm
Mike Rogers:

Alcohol? Weed?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:36pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

@Mike - I mean, 1968, so who knows? ;-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:36pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

A radio disc jockey!!! GASP!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:38pm
StringOFperils:

Seems like an idea that's just out there. The threat out the window. J. G. Ballard's The Unlimited Dream Company [1979] must be the ultimate garden-out-of-control story
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:38pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

@SOp - I was just reading a bit of back story on Little Shop and apparently there's an H G Wells as well on a similar theme :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:41pm
StringOFperils:

And of course those stalwart Brit villains, the Triffids
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:41pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

@SOp - Ah yes!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:42pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

There's also the segment of .... It's an Amicus film. name escapes me right now but it has Alan Freeman in it. Let me see if I can find it :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:42pm
StringOFperils:

Anyone impaled on a rose thorn might start to think about this stuff...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:42pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

"Dr Terrors House of Horrors"! Of course. It's the segment "The Creeping Vine" :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:44pm
StringOFperils:

Ooh. Haven't seen that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:45pm
StringOFperils:

...or have I?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:45pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

@SOp - It's a tremendous amount of silly, camp fun in that wonderfully 70s Amicus style :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:45pm
StringOFperils:

Seems like I saw many Peter Cushing films, so I probably did. So long ago.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:46pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

Dr Terror's the one with Kenny Lynch as the jazz band member who says "Don't mess with that voodoo, man!" :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:46pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

@SOp - Ah yes! Peter Cushing in the train :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:47pm
StringOFperils:

Ha ha. **thinks...hmm, I was quite a macabre little boy
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:47pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

Also, spoofed wonderfully by Steve Coogan in "Dr Terribles House of Horribles" ;-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:48pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

Oh, I was *obsessed* with horror books when I was but a wee thing :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:49pm
StringOFperils:

That I have not seen. Some of Coog's many projects are hard to find over here. (Alan Partridge wouldn't resonate so much.) I'm sure it was hilarious.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:49pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

@SOp - It was beautifully done! He clearly has a soft spot for old Brit horror ;-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:58pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

A quick note to UK and European listeners - I'll be on one hour earlier for all of you next week due to Daylight Savings! :-)
Avatar 3:59pm
Mr Fab:

Ooh, cool ending!

Thx GG, had to werk like jerk so couldn’t comment, but OH how I love these October (horror)fests.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:59pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

Thank you, Mr Fab!! :-) I had so much fun doing them :-) I think the Hellraiser is my favourite time in the the WFMU calender :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:00pm
StringOFperils:

Thank you, GG!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:00pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

Thank you SOp! :-) <3
