During the week I heard two bird songs by Dan Fogelberg (who I've always loved) "Crow" from Captured Angel & "As the Raven Flies" from Souvenirs, both fine tunes. Of course there's also "Phoenix" by him, but that's more a mythical bird song.

Hamsters will eat each other. Especially females who will sometimes eat males after mating. they can become very aggressive, even towards babies after giving birth
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:10am
Amanda:

@mr 6, I believe that page was a spinoff or parody of the original Hamster Dance website.

Hi. I like how skunks roll up a ball of grass and when they crawl into their hibernating hole, they kind of seal the hole with the ball of grass. 🦨
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:42am

Skunks rule, they are among the cutest mammals
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:43am

@Dano59 Are you applying to adopt the dog?? I hope it gets saved!

A fun exercise would be to sort out what animals go with what kind of music. Reggae animals, jazz animals, classical music animals, punk rock animals, etc. One could spend days on the project.

Yes, I like those white fake trees too, you can keep them in the family for generations!

Maybe Hoboken Mike can be the WFMU Station Cat? He could live at the station and discourage vermin. And be a friend to all. Like a freeform version of a Bodega Cat.
Avatar 8:53am
Kathleen from JC:

That's a thought, @P-90! All sorts of businesses have beloved resident cats. Fabric shops, breweries, liquor stores (shout out to Hennessy at the liquor shop on Coles St.!)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:55am
Amanda:

I do like that idea, but there are several dogs who frequent WFMU and they would probably feel differently! Happy to be proven wrong...
