	7:31am Creature Boy: Read a little bit about the Furs' Love My Way. Turns out Bowie was a fan and wanted to produce the album which was eventually done by Todd Rundgren and called Forever Now. Love My Way has Flo & Eddie on it! They insisted on being included on that particular song because they knew it was a hit. Richard Butler cried when he saw the American cover art which aped the style of the Talk Talk Talk album & replaced the UK cover with font deemed illegible by some stateside suit . Charlie Bubbles did the British art which was used on the reissues

Even said “Trust me, they’re probably crunching numbers as we speak etc”. Didn’t get either one. Didn’t work for two weeks just to make all the interviews. I was really feeling down. Slept a lot and ate a lot. And decided to get back on the horse. No sense in spinning out any further. Thanks LCBD!

	7:40am bridgetteanddaisy: I took my mom to see the rod at PNC this summer. We had good seats, and during the Cheap Trick set, we’re pretty sure that he was sitting a couple of rows of head of us. I didn’t realize that Rod Stewart impersonators were a dime a dozen. I convinced my mom to walk over and say hello, even though she was totally starstruck, and he gave her this whole story about how he was deeply moved by seeing Cheap Trick on stage That he got to share with them later because he’s been trying to tour with him since the mid-70s. He even shed tears. Then he put his arm around my mom and sing along to two songs with her. When there’s that was over he disappeared into the staging area. He came back a couple of songs later and he realized he was just a deep fake, but my mom still got lots of selfies and street CRED with her coworkers at Macy’s.

I really enjoyed Talk Talk’s i”t’s my life”, but if it was followed up by 10 more songs with similar synth and drum machine 80s jangle music it would quickly lose its charm. However, move from Talk Talk, to Alice Cooper, to Angelique Kidjo and there is no getting stuck in a rut!

	7:31am Creature Boy: Read a little bit about the Furs' Love My Way. Turns out Bowie was a fan and wanted to produce the album which was eventually done by Todd Rundgren and called Forever Now. Love My Way has Flo & Eddie on it! They insisted on being included on that particular song because they knew it was a hit. Richard Butler cried when he saw the American cover art which aped the style of the Talk Talk Talk album & replaced the UK cover with font deemed illegible by some stateside suit . Charlie Bubbles did the British art which was used on the reissues

Even said “Trust me, they’re probably crunching numbers as we speak etc”. Didn’t get either one. Didn’t work for two weeks just to make all the interviews. I was really feeling down. I didn’t realize that Rod Stewart impersonators were a dime a dozen. I convinced my mom to walk over and say hello, even though she was totally starstruck, and he gave her this whole story about how he was deeply moved by seeing Cheap Trick on stage That he got to share with them later because he’s been trying to tour with him since the mid-70s. He even shed tears. Then he put his arm around my mom and sing along to two songs with her. When there’s that was over he disappeared into the staging area. He came back a couple of songs later and he realized he was just a deep fake, but my mom still got lots of selfies and street CRED with her coworkers at Macy’s.

I really enjoyed Talk Talk’s i”t’s my life”, but if it was followed up by 10 more songs with similar synth and drum machine 80s jangle music it would quickly lose its charm. However, move from Talk Talk, to Alice Cooper, to Angelique Kidjo and there is no getting stuck in a rut!
