Then I have a copay just to go visit my doctor and co-insurance charges on top of THAT! So, stuff associated with my "guaranteed free" under NYS law well-woman checkup is racking up a slew of bills, some bigger than others. I got a scare quotes first notice on a bill, threatening to refer me to collection (and thus Fing my credit rating) for the princely sum of....$3.44. And of COURSE even though I do all other financial stuff via email/my phone, NOOOOOO, they will ONLY bill you via snail mail and FU if the USPS loses it. F this country. F our lack of real healthcare. I just got a first-time-ever coinsurance bill for a radiologist and I didn't even see the radiologist on the day listed; asked for a detailed and full billing statement to see if the nonsense stops there.
