If it hadn't been for WFMU I never would have heard of Jerry Blavat.

	5:14pm Miss G: Why I said “there is a time and place” to myself, not to anyone else: when my guy had died suddenly, I had to see a low-income-something lawyer about his “estate” (the lawyer was a Virginia prep like Brett Kavanaugh, but those guys always since I went to UVA in 1981, they loved me, “take a walk on the wild side” etc.) So I was going on and on about “his wishes” and the lawyer suddenly yelled at me, “What do you care? HE’s DEAD.” and it was the first time that it hit me. So, for me, I try to live in the moment, what’s going on now with the living, and the person who is dead, we can honor them anytime. . . this is, for ME.

My one and only interesting Television story, saw them open for Peter Gabriel at the Capitol Theater in Passaic in 1977. TV was booed off the stage before finishing a song, but I’ve been a fan ever since. And PG was said to be so embarrassed by hi s fans behavior, that he personally came out to introduce the opener on all his subsequent tours. RIP Tom Verlaine.

	5:14pm Miss G: Why I said “there is a time and place” to myself, not to anyone else: when my guy had died suddenly, I had to see a low-income-something lawyer about his “estate” (the lawyer was a Virginia prep like Brett Kavanaugh, but those guys always since I went to UVA in 1981, they loved me, “take a walk on the wild side” etc.) So I was going on and on about “his wishes” and the lawyer suddenly yelled at me, “What do you care? HE’s DEAD.” and it was the first time that it hit me. So, for me, I try to live in the moment, what’s going on now with the living, and the person who is dead, we can honor them anytime. . . this is, for ME.

My one and only interesting Television story, saw them open for Peter Gabriel at the Capitol Theater in Passaic in 1977. TV was booed off the stage before finishing a song, but I’ve been a fan ever since. And PG was said to be so embarrassed by hi s fans behavior, that he personally came out to introduce the opener on all his subsequent tours. RIP Tom Verlaine.
