Rod in The Faces is one of the great rock vocalists for sure. But when Ronnie Lane took the lead vocal, I loved it. He has such a sweet, vulnerable voice, it's a whole different color. The opposite of Rod's, well deserved, swagger. I hope we hear some solo Ronnie in this set.

iIn 1983 I attended one of the ARMS shows at MSG. What a powerhouse of talent came together to honor Ronnie Lane who, having been ravaged by MS, could not walk by then. He was carried out onto the stage. He sang "Long Gone." There was not a dry eye in the room by the end. Very sad! But, it brought awareness to that horrible autoimmune condition which wasn't well known of back then. Of course, that was the intention.
