I am just realizing that there seems to have been a lot of bubblegum pop music in Germany in the 1970s.

A good day to you, Mr. Oxford.

Mr. Oxford, Bubblegum was really popular in Germany & the rest of Europe since the 1960's. Don has a lot of German pic sleeves to prove it.

Cool! Yeah I'm just now realizing Jan Turkenburg plays Dutch 'teenager music' on one of his shows which is basically Bubblegum Pop. Don has played quite a lot of French ye-ye music. Of course, Bay City Rollers were Scottish. Lots of bubblegum music in Europe indeed.

Captain Beefheart's Trout Mask Replica was released in 1969 too. That's classic bubblegum pop music.

Just joking haha.

Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band did Safe As Milk on Buddah.
Avatar 3:28pm
Mr. Oxford:

↳ Cheree July @3:25
That's right! There was some soul music out too on Buddah: Curtis Mayfield, Isley Brothers etc. Quite an eclectic record label Buddah was: from Ohio Express to Beefheart to Curtis Mayfield.
