Garage Gamelan: Faithful and disruptive traditional and synthetic gamelan tracks by composers from Bali to Scotland to Seattle using bells, gongs, drums, and their digital surrogates in a variety of grooving atmospheres. From ecstasy to melancholy this music transmits a mysterious and infectiously positive vibe.

with a lovely, true, meaningful note:
"So much admiration and appreciation for David and Ruth and the remarkable Ridgewood Radio. Surely no other program in the WFMU omniverse maximizes more the profound value of preservation though the station's practice of archiving. The capturing of all these amazing sounds by all these essential artists is a gift to be discovered by the generations to come."
