Though making her fame with the Bangles, she and Matthew Sweet made a series of all-covers albums that even spawned a "Best of" compilation. I enjoy great covers and, as you would probably agree, these alternative versions can often exceed the original in quality.

I recovered quickly, however, as did she. As I contemplated our speedy recovery, I suddenly remembered a dream from the night my fever broke: I found myself in the dream version of The Lowell High School Library, which is just like the real Lowell High School Library except for the fact that I run the place when I'm sleeping. Anyway, this kid suddenly appeared, and started flinging all this shimmering stuff around the library. Suddenly, smiles appeared on the faces of my students. They because inspired, and began reading, writing, drawing, and discussing all sort of wonderful opinions, explanations, instructions, stories, and bits of engaging information. I suddenly realized that the kid in the library was Nadia Now, who you had sent to distribute pixie to the dreams of everyone who contributed during the marathon. "I gotta go," she said. "I have a lot of other glisteners to distribute pixie to. Hey, remember to brush your teeth for two minutes, okay?" "Will do," I said, "and I know...dogs eat anything, absolutely anything." "Sure enough," she said, "I gotta go." "Godspeed, Nadia Now," I said as she vanished and appeared in another place, perhaps another library administered by a faithful and loyal glistener. Well, I tell you, that pixie broke that fever wide open. Furthermore this was, as you no doubt know, Vintage 2023 Marathon Collectable Pixie Suitable for Framing, which has the property of carrying over into the material plane. Consequently, there's just pixie everywhere I look now; not just in the ethereal Lowell High School Library, but in the real Lowell High as well. And darn it if it isn't even slowly making its way to the library website. Thanks to you and your diligent messenger, every student in Lowell High School who either visits the library or gets a library visit from me now can't help but get pixie. And Lanky Lizards, the kid was generous with the pixie. There's enough to make the dreams of everyone in Lowell the kind in which they awake thinking of what to be thankful for. Which is why, of course, they should listen to your show, and listen to the efforts of all of the fine WFMU DJs, including those on the other streaming stations. And that's my tuck of the tuck. I recovered quickly, however, as did she. As I contemplated our speedy recovery, I suddenly remembered a dream from the night my fever broke: I found myself in the dream version of The Lowell High School Library, which is just like the real Lowell High School Library except for the fact that I run the place when I'm sleeping. Anyway, this kid suddenly appeared, and started flinging all this shimmering stuff around the library. Suddenly, smiles appeared on the faces of my students. They because inspired, and began reading, writing, drawing, and discussing all sort of wonderful opinions, explanations, instructions, stories, and bits of engaging information. I suddenly realized that the kid in the library was Nadia Now, who you had sent to distribute pixie to the dreams of everyone who contributed during the marathon. "I gotta go," she said. "I have a lot of other glisteners to distribute pixie to. Hey, remember to brush your teeth for two minutes, okay?" "Will do," I said, "and I know...dogs eat anything, absolutely anything." "Sure enough," she said, "I gotta go." "Godspeed, Nadia Now," I said as she vanished and appeared in another place, perhaps another library administered by a faithful and loyal glistener. Well, I tell you, that pixie broke that fever wide open. Furthermore this was, as you no doubt know, Vintage 2023 Marathon Collectable Pixie Suitable for Framing, which has the property of carrying over into the material plane. Consequently, there's just pixie everywhere I look now; not just in the ethereal Lowell High School Library, but in the real Lowell High as well. And darn it if it isn't even slowly making its way to the library website. Thanks to you and your diligent messenger, every student in Lowell High School who either visits the library or gets a library visit from me now can't help but get pixie. And Lanky Lizards, the kid was generous with the pixie. There's enough to make the dreams of everyone in Lowell the kind in which they awake thinking of what to be thankful for. Which is why, of course, they should listen to your show, and listen to the efforts of all of the fine WFMU DJs, including those on the other streaming stations. And that's my tuck of the tuck.
