...Was it Bob himself who said that every line in 'Hard Rain' wanted to be another song ?
...& then the staggering simplicity of 'Don't Think Twice' - which is as indispensible & essential ...& just plain *useful* - as any Song anyone has ever written...
Many are the Good Songwriters & the Entertainers - but Bob gave us Tools to Live that we absolutely *needed* to survive.
As Springsteen said - what Elvis did for our bodies, Dylan did for our minds. All the other Greatest Songwriters were liberated by the Change he initiated - & probly simply influenced directly. Even the Jonis & Cohens.
