Intrinsically curated, the music on this program—exclusively vinyl played on Technic 1200 M3D turntables—presents an illuminating collection of other-worldly grooves, beats, and sounds. Host Kim Sorise honors the jazz innovators, beat conductors, soul senders, and mind benders that traverse our musical and auditory landscapes. Grease for all. In music we trust.

As far as festivals go, it depends. Don't love really crowded scenes either-the Vision Festival is coming to Brooklyn, There was a Winter Jazz Fest in January in NYC, the crowds weren't THAT bad (last year's Vision Fest wasn't crowded at all. They'd probably like it to be more crowded, but it was good for me).
I do most of my record shopping on my computer these days as well, every once in a while I hit a shop (Princeton Record Exchange was the last one). I understand there are a few good record shops in Philly, from my friend who lives there.
