Ps: Braxton’s son came to Dartmouth performing music along side an innovative dance troupe / then DJ’d at an avant garde after party. Interesting evening.

I can also edit Doug out if that is required.
Or Braxton for that matter.

“It does, however, feature a charming rarity on the second disc: an actual encore, the only one Braxton played on this tour. A brief run-through of "Composition 40(0)" led by a fleet spray-of-notes solo by Braxton and featuring some comping by Crispell in the manner of her hero Cecil Taylor, it's proof that avant-garde jazz needn't be difficult or forbidding.”

The CD authorizing software is nice because I can make mixed data and audio CDR, and I can adjust the “countdown” gap between tracks. But the latter is an extra, not crucial. Ditto the former when CD drives are not standard for laptops anymore.

I try not to touch audio work with a ten foot pole nowadays. It makes me too neurotic.

Captivating enough … yet there is so much more. Wonder if I will ever see her in concert ?!

That gizmo looks good, the phono preamp is key. (For some reason I have a turntable with a built in pre-amp. Not sure how that happened and probably destroyed any audiophile cred that I have accrued by admitting that.)
