Actually in the case of the Argentinean Folk music radio station, I could not find the playlist or current playing track info on any other website either. The information just was not there it seemed (or I needed to do deep searching in Espanol).

On the webpage of the station, it showed some news, facebook posts and that's it. It made me sad that I might never be able to find out what I was listening to and to be able to listen to it again. and there was no DJ commentary too. Just some ads/ public service announcement about Covid. I guess it was like a radio listening experience from the good old days.

Hahaha the current song being played is a famous Hindi language (Indian) song from the 1960s. It's from a movie called Teesri Manzil (translates to 3rd Floor). The whole soundtrack is great.

Not anymore. I used to do no paid college stuff. CA and OR. I like that atmosphere because if people are creative and curious and willing to work hard they have opportunities to learn how to do every job at a station. I especially liked creating and recording advertisements for local events.

No, lala lu. "Jaan Pehchaan Ho" is from a different movie called Gumnaam (which means Unknown in Hindi). The funny thing is, that song is actually not popular in India. But in certain circles in North America it was popular, thanks to Ghost World and a Heineken commercial

I looked up and the composer is different. You're right, the arrangements/sounds could sound similar.

I have not seen that movie but I have also heard that it is a mess hahaha. DJ Becky Ebenkamp from Bubblegum OD show was once on Wired Up! chat and she said she had seen the movie and it was basically an Agatha Christie story haha.
