	1:36pm rw: coel, my severely flawed memory recalls that the EP was a way to make music more affordable after jacking the prices on LPs during the oil crisis using the scarcity of oil as an excuse. Never made sense to me, seeing that a 12 inch EP used the same resources as a 12 inch LP.
	1:42pm coelacanth∅: right. the only way it made sense were the 10" and 7" ones. you can have 4 full-length songs comfortably on a 7" microgroove record but we rarely saw it.

	2:03pm Tony Coulter: I'd guess that Zoogz Rift has gotten a good amount of FMU airplay over the years -- although a lot of his tracks are non-FCC-friendly.
	2:10pm Tony Coulter: I've certainly played him before, along with Johanna Went, C.W. Vrtacek, De Fabriek, Paul Dresher, Audio Leter, Rich La Bonte, Philip Perkins, and Pope Paul Pot (who's coming up later). So ... lots of these artists!
