	9:16am Polyus: Kim, I think mine was Four And More - I was taking drum lessons from someone who played it for me and stressed that Tony Williams was all of 17 years old when it was recorded. Of course I myself never came anywhere close to that level of proficiency and just plain awesomeness.

The expectation for "how I should play" didn't always allow me to learn and appreciate my "non-genius" approach to the instrument. Because I couldn't perform like Davis - I would at time be afraid to try and improvise. Music education is tricky on many levels.

I still practiced on my own time but missed out on a ton of instruction and experience.
