Clay..we got the last course of TV Repair taught at DeVry Tech in NJ in 1980 or so. I became interested in electronic repair thanks to old Vince who had a TV repair shop a half a block from my home. I used to hang there & just watch him work. Nice man. Next door was my first job at 10 years old working for Sam the Barber sweeping hair off the barbershop floor.

	6:49am Gerry from Miami: PIDGE, heard you mention Zenith and Quasar in your comment about TV repair way back when. My family had a Quasar, but it was made by Motorola. Panasonic used the Quasar moniker later on, I think. Zenith is credited with bringing forth the first remote control for televisions, but we never got one, that's for sure.

My Grandfather was professional driver (Teamster) most of his life, driving for Armour Meats, Wonder Bread & Duggan's Bread. I used to hide out in his bread truck so I didn't have to go to school :)

Panasonic used the Quasar moniker later on, I think. Zenith is credited with bringing forth the first remote control for televisions, but we never got one, that's for sure.

He has collaborated with NASA art based on original moon landing pictures. There's some permanent at a NASA museum.
