Wasn't there a DJ who used an instrumental of this as bed music during mic breaks a long time ago?

I don't know how I'd feel about someone talking over Vivien Goldman, so I'm glad you weren't doing that.

It was either an instrumental version or a loop of the bassline itself, maybe without other instruments. I can't remember. Probably happened in the 90s.

I read somewhere that Melatonin doesn't help you sleep if you take too much, and that seems to jibe with my experience. I gave up on it when I couldn't find dosages < 1mg anymore.

I’ve been taking too much sometimes 20 mg
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:53pm

Gee whiz, I wonder what THAT does!
  10:56pm
Carmichael:

I take more than that. I’m too wired at the end of the day.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:58pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

I couldn't seem to make Melatonin work when I wanted it to. Like - 20 minutes before bed was not really happening. It is a hormone - one you reportedly make less & less of as you age. Supposedly why you sleep like an angel when yer a kid. & I did find that overall - taking it helped me feel restored in mood in some kind of way like that - dreaming more & sleeping deeply. But as a cure for insomnia in the moment you want it - not for me it wasn't...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:02pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

↳ diciassette @10:44
...you also don't have to take a full dose of anything. There are little pill choppers that are easy to find.

↳ Revolution Rabbit Nov63 @11:02
Very true! Thar's this stuff called tizanidine that my mom always has more of than she knows what to do with, so she gives a bit to me, and whenever I need to sleep (whether my brain wants to or not) I take half a pill and before I know it it hits me like a ton of actuarial science!

Yerknow - sometimes just some aspirin even won't do you much harm - if you just wanna relax & get a little rest. Might be enuff to help a little. Tho a fact is most drugs are hard on the stomach & liver.

It's like Benadryl is a Hypnotic - & I've never had anything make me wanna lie down & ignore everything like that does ! Reportedly - what it is - is there are not that many Elements in Physics with which to make these molecules - or our bodies. So most of them have a range of Side Effects...
