Hi Julie - As a person who is visually impaired, I am disappointed in the answer you provided to Chuck. Does WMFU share your feelings on people with disabilities? I am a relatively new listener to your show, but it is hard to read the page. The contrast is difficult. I would also like to point out while this doesn't affect me, but others who are colorblind would find the screen very difficult to read as well. I already have to enlarge the text to participate in this chat.

There are system and browser settings for the visually impaired. I was blind in one eye for a few years after a detached retina (eventually all was well), and I took advantage of them.
  9:48pm
Lizzy:

Sorry Julie - It was better as Bright pink.. probably not great for colorblind people though. The black is actually not easy to read either. :( Not your fault - WFMU site doesn't resize well.
  9:49pm
Chuck:

I haven't seen anything change yet???...:)

  9:51pm
Chuck:

Maybe I have to refresh or something???...:)
  9:53pm
Chuck:

Okay now I see maybe aquamarine would be better???...:)
  9:54pm
Lizzy:

No I wasn't asking for black... but I do appreciate the effort. Its really about the contrast to the red.
Beantown Doug - Works for some sites but not for others.. for example the Post button disappears if I make the screen too large. Again not Julie fault but the IT folks who deal with the website. If you run it through an accessibility check it flags it for a few things.

I'm old enough to have seen "Sorry Girls: He's Married" on Ed Sullivan. My big sister was at both Shea Stadium shows. You didn't have to be there to know what the Beatles were, but you had to be there to *really* know. No other musical entity ever made so many people happy.
