I like the Price Of Fear: "This show stands out in Price's radio career as some of the episodes are based on fictional adventures of Vincent Price himself, in which Price plays himself, while others have him merely introducing the macabre tale of the week. "

These kinds of horror stories - with a deteriorating relationship at the center of the story - are fairly common in Old Radio Shows. But I think this one has a nice variation on it that is a little more believable.

They do play up the rivalry in that movie, but I think it was largely exaggerated, as I understand it. Still: makes for some great jokes, which they often endulged in themselves. (Some of their on-screen pairings play up the rivalry, when they were both alive.)
Avatar 10:17pm
Mr Fab:

I believe i mentioned a week or so ago that the Fab fam are having a bit of a classic horror film festival this month, and realized that those Universal films were so short, we could watch both “Frankenstein” and “Bride of” with in 2 1/2 hours. Gotta show Lil Fab the koolness of Karloff.
Avatar 👻 Swag For Life Member 10:18pm

“If it hadn’t been for Boris Karloff, I could have had a corner on the horror market” - Bela

Boris however used to just sadly say, “poor Bela...”
Avatar 👻 Swag For Life Member 10:26pm
Austin Rich:

↳ Mr Fab @10:22
It is funny; when I was growing up, I think Bela had the "sexier" reputation, and certainly, vampires were on the rise. But I think history has sort of revealed that Boris was just as cool, in different ways.

Yeah, esp. since we now know about Bela’s sad slide into alcoholism leading to an early death, as opposed to Boris’ long life, getting plum roles like The Grinch late in his career.
