The beeping mechanism failed? Good grief! If they couldn’t get beeping right, how did they ever get the thing into space?

The Blind Willie Johnson you played you credited the RBF / Folkways release and then the satellite / science record. Only two out of 10 or so tracks, but something triggering you to visit the Folkways releases (assuming you are playing from vinyl that you own).

was not familiar with this album, I searched for the title in expectation of a lot of irrelevant results but it was at the top of the list. Did not know this was a gateway release for several 60s pop stars.

↳ Song: "Seeds (based on an Untitled Draft by Ornette Cole...
"The starting point for Talmor's latest project are previously unreleased compositions by Ornette Coleman. Ohad Talmor reports that as a companion, friend and heir to the artistic legacy of Lee Konitz and Ornette Coleman, he (and drummer George Schuller) found three tapes documenting an Ornette Coleman and Lee Konitz rehearsal in the apartment of Konitz, who died in 2020. This music was played in Europe by the Ornette Coleman Quartet featuring Konitz in the summer of 1998 and then forgotten. Talmor wrote out the general melodic contours of some of these compositions and then imagined his own sets of variations inspired by these compositions, which he complemented with a stunning number of originals of his own and a couple of Ornette classics and Dewey Redman tunes, the latter being his first saxophone teacher."

Listener Gregory:

I heard about this Talmor album and can’t help wishing I could hear those Ornette demos. Man, what must they have sounded like?
