yes i doubt it too, the tone reminded me of a 'miles' sound, didnt find anything online, but szabo was playing with different pianists live in early 70's

Most of these sound like there's a mike in the room/venue where music's playing over the house system or some free-standing consumer playback unit, and I'm getting what the mike's getting -- speakers heard over a mike. Which is kind of fun: funky music via funky DIY tech. But are they coming instead directly from source media or files through the wires?
Maybe all this has been discussed before and I missed it.
