Years ago a coworker asked for a book recommendation, and I said Infinite Jest. Guy didn't go past the first pages, confronted me about the word "webbing", asking how he was supposed to know about that. He went on to say he asked professors in Italy who agreed this book should not be read. I didn't get reported to HR for it (not sure, actually), but he called it abuse, and he didn't read much of it

She's been working on a hard goods piece based around the words. "and yet she persisted"
Considering the very serious medical issues she is currently dealing with, those words mean everything.
Persist,persist,persist
