ENGLISH, the story of four Iranian adult students studying for their English proficiency exam and winner of the 2023 Pulitzer Prize is currently on stage at The Old Globe in San Diego. Tonight on the show we have Director Arya Shahi. Then we will drop into the incredible one-woman piece THE PIANIST OF WILLESDEN LANE. Performed and co-written by the Grammy-nominated pianist Mona Golabek tells her mothers story of being a fourteen year old musical prodigy forced to flee Vienna on the Kindertransport in this stunning production by the Ensemble Theatre Company at The New Vic in Santa Barbara.
